Correct Posture

When correcting posture it is very important to stretch standing up in an neutral position. By taking breaths in and out slowly allowing a greater stretch and more relaxation. Personally my favorite stretches are the wrist pulls, neck rolls, and shoulder shrugs. Each of these stretches will prevent any straining in muscles preventing and tightness or injury which can be beneficial to anyone pursuing a career at an office.

Until today i did not know that the hand has many tendons and ligaments which support everyday motion such as typing. I learned that your feet must stick to the floor and your posture must be proper. Also I learned that muscle memory produces great work habits which can boost your work productions, making sure your body is at a natural position at all times and typing while on the phone allows bad circulation in your shoulders and neck.

Poor exercise or bad posture can cause back and neck pains which is CTD Cumulative Trauma Disorder.

Ergonomics is the science that deals with people, their work environment and how people use it daily.

Why I Came to St. Mary

I came to this school looking for a greater educational opportunity. In Garfield High School the teachers could care less if you’re not understanding the material and not go out of their way to help the student. Also as an athlete because Garfield athletics are not as good, and i was looking for the winning experience instead of losing all the time. I think if i would of went to Garfield in the future i wouldn’t become a successful person because of the negativity and peers not pursuing an college education. Hopefully after graduating from here i will be able to look back and thank my parents for giving me this privilege.

My Favorite childhood memory

My favorite childhood memory was when I played junior football for Garfield and we won the superbowl game. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life and I will never forget it. We beat Fairfield 33-7 and our team had a very sucessful 10-1 season. We werent the biggest or the strongest guys on the field but we had alot of heart which allowed us to be the team we were destined to be.
